Find Your Vision. Build Your Craft. Inspire Your Business.
What is Inspire?
Inspire is a retreat-style conference for professional wedding and portrait photographers. The conference is comprised of sessions on a variety of subjects, from business practices to shooting techniques, to artistry and personal vision. Inspire retreats are structured to enhance opportunities to foster deep relationships with other attendees, build community, and create a culture of ongoing peer-to-peer mentoring and support in our industry.
The Mission of Inspire is to invigorate photographers of any level with vision, ideas, and a community of support through intensive workshops focusing on vision, craft, and business.
Inspire workshops and lectures are presented by accomplished professional photographers who are committed to elevating the quality of art and business practice in their industry. They are selected for their commitment to mentoring and community as much as they are selected for their skills and knowledge in their subject area.
Inspire is the brain-child of Enna and Matt Grazier. After attending other conferences and workshops, they envisioned a different sort of conference: one which tapped into the opportunities for networking and personal growth which are often underutilized at traditional conferences yet also often the best part of any conference… thus, the “retreat-style conference” description.
In 2009 Enna and Matt gathered a group of photographers together to help produce the first Inspire retreat which included current owners Paul McNerney, Krista Guenin and Mark Higgins as well as Krystal McNerney and Richard Espisito. Carla Ten Eyck joined the team in 2010 and Eric Foley in 2012. Matt Grazier retired from the planning team in 2012, but continues to promote Inspire as an ambassador.
In late 2012 the team formally became owners consisting of Enna Grazier, Paul McNerney, Mark Higgins, Krista Guenin, Carla Ten Eyck and Eric Foley.
Since that first retreat, Inspire has grown steadily, inspiring photographers’ lives and businesses, and offering attendees new insights about their life, work, and photographic passions.
Inspire is collectively produced by a team of New England photographers who are passionate about community and committed to helping others to achieve artistic, professional, and personal success:
